'Tar Aníos' is the second single from Keane's upcoming self-produced debut album 'A Stretch of Light'. It was recorded live in the Dublin mountains Hellfire Studio by Niamh on their grand piano. The song was inspired by a starry evening in Rathangan, Co. Kildare and the story of the battle for the town in 1798.' Tar Aníos' translates to 'Come Down' and it was written by Niamh as Gaeilge.

Mornings Past is the first single from Niamh Keane's upcoming album 'Stretch of Light'. It's a reflective folk song, personal to her. She says, "I enjoy playing with word painting and metaphors, combining descriptive words to paint pictures in a song". Changing time signatures and Keane’s warm melodic vocal lines sweep us into the ebb and flow of this tender song with its soft guitar, piano and string sounds.

Written and produced by Niamh Keane. Vocals recorded by engineer Declan Lonergan. All other tracks recorded by engineer Elise Mollé.

Lake Michigan is a collection of songs written and produced by Niamh Keane with the help of wonderful friends who added their musical talents to the arranging and performance of the tracks.

Recording was done in April, 2019 with studio engineer Julie McClarnon (Lankum, Brigid Mae Power) of Analogue Catalog Studios. By recording live to tape, Julie helped us capture an honest and raw performance of the songs in real time.

All songs except Lonely Sea were then mixed and mastered by Ciarán Lavery and Danny Ball of Oil Tape Studios.

Special thanks to Chris and Graham of the Production Suite for providing
a creative space to bring Lonely Sea alive and for recording and producing the extra layers for the song. Lonely Sea was mastered by Richard of WAV Mastering.
